Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is partnering with the City of Canton, the Harrisburg Royal Neighborhood Association, residents, and volunteers to clean up and clean out the neighborhood.
On June 11, through the City's Beautify a Neighborhood (BAN) program the City will patch potholes, clean catch basins, sweep streets, and provide dumpsters for residents to get rid of unwanted items. Residents and volunteers will be cleaning up all street trash. Habitat trucks will be making the rounds picking up items left out by residents.
These efforts are aimed to engage the community in a collective action where they work cooperatively to create a greater sense of community.
