The Southeast Canton Playground project is a multi-year effort to transform an old playground in the historic Lathrop neighborhood into a vibrant community space for Southeast residents. Having safe places for children to play and spaces for community residents to come together will have a major positive impact in this neighborhood for many years to come. Improvements to the space include new playground equipment, a walking track, basketball courts, and an outdoor pavilion. Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is thrilled to complete the final stages of this project with our long-standing partners, The Timken Company.

As a grassroots Christian housing ministry serving Stark, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Harrison, and Jefferson Counties, Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live.
