We restore existing homes.
At Habitat for Humanity, we bring new life to existing homes. In the process, we help families and individuals shine a light on their hope for a brighter future.

Most people know Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio as a builder of new homes, but we also bring new life to existing houses through our home preservation program. At Habitat, we know there’s value in rebuilding and restoring structures that have a lot of life left – healthy structures that are already the backbone of healthy communities. That’s why, since 1988, we’ve built and renovated hundreds of homes, impacting thousands of individuals through the power of decent, affordable (and often rehabilitated) housing.

Join us as we complete a project at a preserve-a-home that the Wallace family (pictured above) will be purchasing with an affordable,  0% interest mortgage.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio
As a grassroots Christian housing ministry serving Stark, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Harrison, and Jefferson Counties, Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live. People partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.
