Through the Critical Home Repair Program, Habitat for Humanity partners with local homeowners who struggle to maintain the integrity of their homes. Because of this partnership, homeowners can make necessary repairs that would otherwise be impossible, ensuring their houses remain a decent place to live.
Critical Home Repair addresses the health and safety of the individual residences in a neighborhood, strengthens connections within the community, and helps preserve affordable housing stock. It is also a part of Habitat for Humanity's broader community development strategy that is designed to transform and strengthen communities. At the end of the day, we want residents to live, grow, and thrive with a sense of safety, stability, and self reliance.

In Support of Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio
As a grassroots Christian housing ministry serving Stark, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Harrison, and Jefferson Counties, Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio is driven by the vision that everyone needs a decent place to live. People partner with Habitat for Humanity to build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. Through financial support, volunteering, or adding a voice to support affordable housing, everyone can help families achieve the strength, stability, and self-reliance they need to build better lives for themselves.
